Find the exact item before spending it. This reference brings together 30 selected items from our published Welcome to Elderfield guides: cooking and crafting ingredients, fish and bait, named keys, early tools, and production stations. It connects each item to a usable source route, its prerequisite, and a longer guide. It is a curated reference rather than a complete export of every item in the game.
Search items and check task reserves
Use the search to match an item, a recipe input, an NPC or a task named in these records. Category buttons narrow the list to ingredients, fish and bait, keys, or tools and stations. Keep for a task shows only records with a named task or collection use in this selection. Reset filters returns the complete list. Search and filters work in the browser; the initial page includes all thirty records without requiring JavaScript.
The task filter is a reminder, not an instruction to hoard every object. It identifies a documented competing use, such as keeping a Mana Muffin for Ellie's artwork exchange or a Ghost Flounder for Herb. It does not determine which tasks your save has finished. An item without a task-reserve label can still have other uses elsewhere in the game.
30 selected items from published guides. Sources reviewed; current values have not been independently playtested.

The home note is a starting supply, not a repeatable source. Read Secret Sauce guide |
| EyeballIngredients | Grow Eyeleaf Seed bought from Crawford's farming shop. Requires: Farming access, Eyeleaf Seed and a planted crop. | Eyeball, Eyeleaf Seed and Pickled Eyeballs are different inputs. Process the harvest for Secret Sauce. Read Eyeball guide |

Requires: Complete Hans's task and reward conversation; learn both relevant recipes if Cornbread is also missing. | Keep for a task: Keep one for Ellie's Artwork during Artwork for Abigail. | RawhideIngredients | Process Thick Hide in a Drying Rack. Requires: Campsite fishing access and the bait appropriate to the current event state. | Keep for a task: Keep a catch for Art Gallery Red Room painting 1 if unfinished. | WormFish & bait | Herb supplies starting Worms; grow Wormsprout Seed from Crawford for a farming supply. Requires: Herb's lesson for the starting supply, or farm access and a suitable seed season. | Keep for a task: Reserve bait for Herb's Ghost Flounder objective. | LeechesFish & bait | Open General Store Bait Packs as a possible replenishment source. Requires: A fishing rod and actual Leeches from the pack or another recorded find. | Keep for a task: Keep bait for Herb's Fog Eel objective at the Lakefront. | DragonflyFish & bait | Obtain the named bait before travelling to Campsite for Razorfish; no dependable source route is established in this subset. Requires: Dragonfly bait in inventory and a usable Campsite fishing setup. | This entry identifies the required bait, not a verified shop location or drop rate. Read Dragonfly guide |
| Basic Skeleton KeyKeys | Possible container or fishing-treasure find; a later Valtris God Forge recipe is also documented. | FurnaceTools & stations | Finish Helping Molly and its return conversation to receive the Furnace and its blueprint. Requires: Carry the requested Copper Ore for Molly's hand-in. | A Furnace processes inputs; it is not the Forge, Workbench or equipment-upgrade anvil. Read Furnace guide |
| Drying RackTools & stations | Craft at a Workbench with Wood, String and a Copper Bar. Requires: A Workbench and the displayed materials; the recorded recipe is known from the start. | Keep for a task: Use finished rack products for Art Gallery Yellow Room painting 3. Insert prepared meat, wet bundles or Thick Hide. Basement placement changes processing duration, not the output item. Read Drying Rack guide |
| Lapidary TableTools & stations | Complete Molly's The Elder Gem, learn the blueprint and craft the table at a Workbench. Requires: Place the finished table on the Workshop's Forge-upgrade platform. | Unlocks equipment upgrading at the anvil. It is separate from the documented Forge Upgrade tier-two route. Read Lapidary Table guide |
Match raw materials to finished products
Similar names can represent different steps of a production chain. Bloody Skin becomes Scraped Hide at a Witching Mortar before Furnace processing produces Leather. Thick Hide belongs to a separate Drying Rack conversion that produces Rawhide. Selecting a different hide because the names seem interchangeable can leave the intended crafting recipe unfinished.
The same distinction applies in the kitchen. Wheat can become Dough, but a recipe asking for Bread needs the cooked intermediate product. Eyeleaf Seed must grow into an Eyeball before a Grinder can make Secret Sauce. Salt Rock is not finished Salt. Read the input name in the current machine menu and compare it with your inventory before committing the whole stack. The Leather production guide and Dough guide describe their individual station steps.
Preserve the item that completes the current request
Read the journal before cooking, selling or gifting a scarce item. Mana Muffin has an artwork-exchange use; Bitter Herb, Razorfish and Rawhide have specific Gallery uses. A product can be a useful meal and a collection requirement at the same time. The database lists the named reserve so you can decide against your own unfinished tasks.
Tools have dependencies as well. Keep the Rusty Axe and Basic Axe while checking the next Forge recipe. Their upgrade relationship is recorded in the caution field rather than treated as a separate quest delivery. A newer tool does not establish that its predecessor has become disposable. Follow the Forge progression guide when the real problem is a missing station or anvil function.
Separate fish, loaded bait and access requirements
A fish target can require a particular water location and bait. Ghost Flounder uses Worms at the Lakefront; the Razorfish route uses Dragonfly at Campsite outside the Fishing Contest. Carrying bait does not equip it: use the bait item and check what the rod has loaded. Bait Pack contents are random, so a pack does not guarantee the Leeches needed for Herb's next objective.
The records separate those conditions from the timing minigame. Catching a different species after a successful attempt is not the same problem as lacking a rod or having no bait equipped. Use the fishing tutorial for the controls and return to the named fish guide for the target's conditions.
Read named keys and evidence limits literally
Basic Skeleton Key, Fancy Key, Catacombs F2 Key and the Gatekeeper's requested keys are separate items. A consumed basic key does not replace the key required by a different quest. The Catacombs F2 reward opens a deeper route and does not establish a universal requirement for the first exterior entrance. Check the Catacombs route against the floor and lock message you can actually see.
These records reuse source-reviewed published guides; they are not new independent playtests. Random container finds, uncertain shop stock, historical dialogue leads and unresolved pickup locations remain labeled. No drop probabilities, universal stat comparisons or claims of complete game coverage are supplied. An empty search result means this selection does not contain a match. It does not prove that the item or an alternative source is absent from the current game.
